This project involved the complete renovation and installation of a modern family kitchen by Tamar Construction, transforming an unfinished space into a bright, high-quality kitchen.

The design features bespoke shaker-style cabinetry, quartz worktops, a large central island with seating, integrated appliances, and geometric tiled splashbacks. Light grey wall units are paired with deep navy base cabinets to create a clean, contemporary finish.

With recessed LED lighting and an open-plan layout, the finished space provides a practical and stylish kitchen designed for everyday family living.

Loft Conversion – Staircase Installation & Structural Framing (Cornwall)

This stage of the project formed part of a loft conversion completed by Tamar Construction, involving the installation of a new staircase and structural timber framing to create access to the newly converted upper floor.

The work included forming the stair opening, installing new structural supports, constructing the timber staircase, and framing the surrounding walls and storage areas beneath the stairs. Careful planning was required to ensure the staircase integrated with the existing structure while maintaining safe access and efficient use of space.

The design also incorporates built-in storage beneath the staircase, maximising usable space within the property while preparing the area for plasterboarding and final finishes.

This project involved a full internal renovation carried out by Tamar Construction, transforming the property through structural alterations, new floor construction, insulation upgrades, and preparation for modern open-plan living.

The work included installation of structural steel supports, new timber floor structures, wall framing, insulation installation, and preparation for new services and finishes throughout the property. A new screeded floor was also installed to create a level and durable base ready for the final floor finishes.
